Gerald Magooge
Co-Founder and CEOHe is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Dodoma (UDOM) in 2012. Gerald has over 9 years field experience working with retail vendors and smallholder farmers in Tanzania. He founded Nyaisa Foods (among other companies) prior to Co-Founding Wadonge Group Limited.

Christine Musisi
Advisory MemberMs. Christine Musisi is retired after serving at the United Nations for 27 years. She has held senior positions including Resident Representative, UNDP Tanzania, Director for External Relations at UN-Habitat Headquarters, Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa and Representative for Kenya for UN Women. She has held other senior leadership and policy advisory positions in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, having begun her UN career in 1996 in Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan where she championed poverty reduction, gender equality and women’s empowerment initiatives. She holds an M.A. in Gender Analysis in Development, Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Extension and Women and a BA in Business Administration.

Devotha Mwazembe
Advisory MemberDevotha is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Integrative Biosciences at Tuskegee University. Her research focuses on crop production, soil science, crop modeling decision tools, climate change, and sustainability. She earned an MS. Environmental Sciences from Tuskegee University and a BSc. Agronomy from the Sokoine University of Agriculture.
Upon completion of her BS, Ms. Mwazembe worked with African Plantation Kilimanjaro Limited (APK) as an agronomist overseeing the maize and coffee plantations and then joined the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology as a field researcher implementing project field data collection and co-ordination of field works. She later joined Unilever Tea Tanzania where she saved as Agriculture Excellence Manager.

Japhace Poncian
Advisory MemberJaphace Poncian is award winner of the Ruth First Prize 2021 and a Senior lecturer of Development and politics Studies at Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE). He researches on the politics of mineral and energy resources, community engagement and the political economy of development with a regional and country focus on Africa and Tanzania. He also consults in these areas.
